Overall Satisfaction with SAP HANA
It is used by the whole organization. We went to SAP HANA mostly to solve performance issues.
Pros
- Speed and response time
- Analytical capabilities
- Cloud-ready
Cons
- High-availability using a cluster solution needs to be improved
- We have no unplanned downtime due to databases issues, which was something we previously experienced.
- Advanced analytics capabilities.
HANA live views were explored however the business wished to wait for the upgraded capabilities that are coming out.
Support for multiple data types is important to us, especially due to integration challenges that we have to deal with various vendors and government agencies that Amgen interacts with worldwide.
