It has been used as a side car.
Pros
- Some reports used to take a couple of days to run, it takes a couple of hours now.
Cons
- Restricting access to tables is difficult.
- We use for transactions that took a long time and it is resource-friendly.
Yes, it has benefitted. Long-running reports are done quite quickly.
We have not gone on that side yet.
We only use it as a sidecar.
Power BI also works well with HANA.
