Overall Satisfaction with SAP HANA

We use SAP HANA across the whole organization because it is the database of our ERP, and our data warehouse because we also use BW on HANA technology.

We use SAP HANA Text Analytics to uncover consumer insights. We also use sentiment analysis algorithms to analyze social media posts. Finally, we use text mining functions to detect patterns and identify key terms.
In my opinion, these data types let us work with big data scenarios. Data types like JSON allow our data to be unstructured, it can be nested and has depth.
This feature definitely leads to better performance because we are pushing down the hard work to the underlying database. So, yes, this has impacted our analytics operations.
We considered Oracle DB products, but finally we chose SAP HANA because it came with new ERP S/4 HANA.
Taking into account we are talking about a SAP product, as in all others, we have the SAP support portal, with all the information you need to run a SAP product. Also, you can open a note in order to get support directly from SAP.

In my opinion, SAP HANA is well-suited for real-time financial planning and big data scenarios. It is less appropriate for small businesses due to its expensive in-memory data storage.
