Overall Satisfaction with SAP HANA Cloud

Now that we have migrated to the SAP HANA Cloud and not on-premise we do see slower performance - its not much but a few seconds makes a big difference.

Pros

  • less maintenance

Cons

  • It sorts data differently then what we had before and we ran into production errors that we did not anticipate
  • Costs to maintain on premise servers
  • I am not aware of other IT savings based on my current role
We have not been on the platform long enough to know if it s a large success or failure so I rated 8 as a middle ground.

I believe our database groups see much better improvement but I work in front office and we see the slow downs or errors we did not anticipate.
