Overall Satisfaction with SAP Integration Suite

It is used by businesses for S4HANA and third-party integrations. These are used for migration purposes, and hence for synchronization, 3rd parties are used. Integration is playing a main role in other projects where field service management and C4C are used to manage service delivery, product delivery data, and hence keep track of everything in the process.

Pros

  • Very good API based infra that helps to automate many, many things.
  • Use of APIM to act as a proxy and expose the backend.
  • Monitoring is very good.
  • Variety of adapters ease in developing of integration.

Cons

  • Introduction of AI.
  • Automatic action of update of certificate.
  • Monitoring of APIM, something like that of CPI.
The only benefit seen till now is that everything is under one roof, and we do not need any separate parts to work. Also, the cloud helps in connecting and accessing integrations and monitoring on the go. Till now, only these benefits have been seen and nothing more. Many things should be added.
Haven't utilized them yet. Need to know more.
Definitely far better and mature.

Using SAP Integration Suite

200 - Being in consultancy they are all aligned to different levels i.e from analyst, consultants all the way upto senior managers etc. and have cross industry experience. Many are aligned in chemicals, fast moving consumer goods, Healthcare, Automotive, petro chemicals etc. Also there are both onshore and offshore integration teams working in both greenfield and brownfield implementation. Another key area is operations contract.
200 - Again our organisation requires people skilled in across years of proficiency. Right from analysts, consultants, senior consultants, manager, senior managers there are key people that work on integration. The count is more that 200+ and all are working on various projects including implementation and industry operations. Some are SME that cross skill people and help in raising the bar in industry. Currently many are transitioning from PI/PO to BTP-IS and need more experience on Event mesh, advance event mesh along with extension suite and increase of efficiency in on-prem to cloud Migration.
  • Green field implementation
  • Brown field implementation
  • S4 HANA integration
  • Enterprise Operations
  • 3rd party to s4 HANA integration
  • Amazon s3 bucket integration
  • Integration of service now for monthly, weekly reporting
  • Report creation for oracle web logic administrator console
  • Automated ssl certificate update
  • Planning to make process using Joule skills and Joule agents
  • Plans to e2e automation of all types of certificate and passwords
Ease of use. Cloud application helps in 0 downtime. Hopefully with advent of AI product will enhance.
Technical gap for new learners is easy hence learners can be trained for operational efficiency. One of the best thing that i personally like is API based platform approach is excellent and helps in automating many things and one is only limited by ideas.
