Overall Satisfaction with SAP Master Data Governance
We use SAP Master Data Governance to manage the master data changes such as GL accounts, vendors, customers, profit centers, cost centers, and venture from the ECC system to cFin S4.
- CDC
- There have been a lot of errors, particularly in Business Partner replication. We have had to contact SAP on several occasions to fix this and implemented several OSS notes. When we are ready to push the master data from MDG to cFin, the cFin replication config has to be turned off.
- It has caused delays in our cFin replication process as AIF is being held up by master data creation from SAP Master Data Governance.
- There is also no Fiori app that will let us copy GL accounts from one company code to another, similar to code FS15 in ECC.
The prebuilt / business rules are helpful because we do not have to start from the ground up.
One central governance for business partners and other master data.
