Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

We use SAP as our ERP system for our fashion/retail brand. We use a lot of SAP modules. One of the problem we have is with the Fiori Launchpad, the apps are easy to use but the performance, the loading time is pretty slow. This adds a bit of frustration on a daily basis.

Pros

  • Best of class solutions
  • Moving towards AI with Joule
  • Moving towards a clean core

Cons

  • Improvement in Supply Protection
  • Improvement in Re-sourcing/Re-allocating orders when fulfillment is not possible
  • Day to day support for BTP interfaces going in S/4 for monitoring
  • better end to end visibility for order processing
  • lots of features that we can still implement
  • improve process efficiency
I am giving a 7 since the Fiori app helps on the useability but some process are still executed in the GUI system due to the slowness of the interface. SAP is also a complex system which require a good training team to support new users.

With the cloud approach it is easier to move from one version to another when you have a clean core.

In SAP sales and distribution, there's a lot of component regarding Inventory with Advance ATP, PAL, BOP, SUP. These are powerful and complex tools to use for inventory accuracy and calculation. However, there isnt always a clear direction in which to implement. Some features are available only on newest version which would require upgrade.
