Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors
SAP SuccessFactors is used by STERIS as the cornerstone of its People Systems applications ecosystems, which also include ADP (Payroll) and UKG Kronos (timekeeping). It has profoundly changed the velocity and quality of HR Service Delivery to STERIS' employees.
Pros
- Organizes core HCM information in a coherent and flexible manner
- Provides flexible and easy-to-use integration capabilities with adjacent applications
- Gives line employees and their managers an outrageously awesome experience in self service
Cons
- Analytics - this needs to be full-featured, cost-effective, and easily provide for inclusion of data from non-SAP SuccessFactors sources
- Single data model - even though significant strides have been made in this realm, in my opinion, there is still a long way to go
- Prettier UI that might be modifiable to reflect customer web standards
- Improved time-to-fill statistics tracking for more actionable talent search
- Improved quality of HCM data
We used a third-party implementor and implemented several modules simultaneously, on an aggressive time scale. In my experience, the implementation was rough but successful. The roughness was due, in no small part, to us biting off more than we could chew. Also, significant staff turnover with the partner contributed to things going bumpier than they might have.
Except for UltiPro (now UKG), which had already been implemented as an acquired company, SAP SuccessFactors was faster and easier to implement than similar products.
