Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors HCM

We use SAP SuccessFactors as our core HR system and have many of the modules, including Performance Management, Succession and Development, Compensation, Learning and Recruiting and we utilize it globally. SAP SuccessFactors enables us to have all of our team members in one system and manage their ongoing career development as well as the day-to-day transactions.

  • Requirement to have a Provisioning partner to complete certain tasks

  • Easy reporting on team member data and statuses of processes
I think it is pretty user friendly. The admin side of it is a bit more challenging because it typically requires a lot of steps and/or provisioning partnership assistance.
We envision AI helping to quickly handle MSS and ESS transations, whether it be by the managers, team members or our HR team. We are especially excited to use AI throughout our goal setting and performance management processes. We are in the process of working with our Legal and Risk teams to purchase the AI credits so we can begin exploring how we can leverage Joule.

I am likely to recommend SuccessFactors over any other large HCM. There have been a lot of advancements made over the last few years and I really appreciate their commitment to innovation and AI.

We recently renewed our contract for 3 years. We have built so many of our processes in SF and do not feel that by moving to another product that we would necessarily have a better experience.

Integrating SAP SuccessFactors HCM

We've recently started working with APIs and the experience has been that while it's easy to setup we don't always have the ability to control exactly what the vendor has access to. It would be preferred if we could customize the exact data and permissions that the API should have.
