Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors HCM

We are fairly new to SuccessFactors. Currently learning the different modules that are available to us and what fits our business needs. Our current problem is succession building which takes a lot of work with different modules: Goal Management, Development Management and Talent Source. We are trying to navigate through all while also teaching our workforce what they need to do.

Pros

  • After Succession set up is complete, I think it is set up to be a really great tool
  • Tracking Goals is simple
  • User friendly

Cons

  • Document storage is complicated. Need different categories to better store employee documents.
  • I wish Goal Management had comment sections where you can track your progress in detail instead of waiting for Performance Evaluation to enter your comments.
  • Automation of employee development has been a huge impact
