Overall Satisfaction with SE Ranking
We use SE Ranking for monitoring the overall rankings, search visibility and traffic for our clients in North America.
It is being used by 2 people (a strategist uses its Traffic Forecast feature and a marketer uses it to monitor keyword rankings).
We got a lifetime plan via AppSumo deal and we're glad we didn't pay for it more.

- Tracks rankings very precisely and based on location.
- Provides fairly good website audits.
- Competition research.
- It has a relatively poor backlink index.
- Confusing to use. Not so optimized UI.
- Reporting System could be better.
- It's very easy to track keywords and investing in this tool for this is a no-brainer. Once you set it up, you'll be able to use it as an easy client reporting solution.
- We've managed to save some money using it for rank-tracking for clients outside the USA, and not use Yandex or some other search engine oriented tools which can be costly.
- It helps us generate income by selling website audits to our clients which are based on its website auditor.
SE Ranking is better than Serpstat or MOZ or Ahrefs when it comes to tracking keyword rankings, but it lacks in every other SEO category, such as onsite and offsite SEO metrics, content analysis, etc...
It's a good choice for agencies that are interested in tracking keywords for their clients, but other than that it underperforms in every other SEO category.
