Overall Satisfaction with Secure Code Warrior
Other departments have set up Secure Code Warrior to use as a training tool, and for annual security tournaments. I take part in the tournaments and use the training opportunities presented. The interface is easy to use, making learning about secure code incredible fun (and therefore more memorable) - I've definitely learnt a lot through it.
- Code tournaments with leaderboards
- An incredibly fun way to learn how to write secure code
- Sometimes selecting the incorrect code can feel a bit clunky
- Tournaments
- Learning courses
- It teaches how to write more secure code, which is obviously an overall good for the business
- LinkedIn Learning (Lynda.com) and Pluralsight Skills
I had no influence on selecting Secure Code Warrior.
So far the Pluralsight courses I have used have all been video based - the interactivity of Secure Code Warrior makes learning more fun, and therefore more memorable.
Finding courses on both Pluralsight and Secure Code Warrior is much easier than on Linkedin Learning.
