Shift is a Must-Have for us
Overall Satisfaction with Shift
I use Shift to manage all my email accounts in one place while also accessing our company application stack - like Slack, Monday.com, Google Ads, and others. I currently have 8 email accounts that I monitor (all Google Workspace accounts) and we have another 7 apps that are integrated into each workspace. Every app we use is used right inside the UI.
Pros
- Email Management
- Application management
- Customer service
Cons
- Microsoft 365 (from GoDaddy) support (although not Shift's fault)
- More frequent updates
- Better extension support with browser
- Unified Inbox for Email
- Increased productivity
- Time saver
- Convenience
- Ease of integration
Shift's Gmail integration is the most valuable for us. The only annoyance here is the repeated re-authorizations that are required every week or so. Passkeys are not allowed, so we have to get our phones out once a week and scan QR codes to reauthorize the app with Google Workspace. Office365 is great unless you have GoDaddy's version, in which case it is not usable. All other apps are amazing! Notion, Google Ads, GoHighLevel, Monday.com, Slack, Google Analytics, Zapier, ChatGPT, Figma, Wistia, ClickUp, Make, CallRail, Canva, Google Drive....and the list goes on. All application integrations are super helpful.
There really isn't any way to increase productivity more! To have all your email and other applications in one UI is fantastic! It saves so much time to not have to open a ton of different applications...or have 30 different browser tabs open. It's literally all your apps in one place.
The others only do email. Nothing else.
