Overall Satisfaction with Shift

I've used Shift for several years now to easily keep all the programs I use often to run my business within easy reach. I dont have to worry about opening a bunch of different apps or tabs every time i open my computer - most things stay signed in, and i love the notification badges and ability to see all my email tabs in one spot. It helps me easily switch back and forth between different programs throughout the day in a way that doesn't feel overwhelming.

Pros

  • Swap between different workspaces to show different apps
  • Allow me to tottle notification badges on/off
  • Has almost all of the apps I use regularly in my business
  • Helps me keep tab on all my email accounts easily

Cons

  • There are a few apps that I use regularly that arent on Shift
  • I dont love using Shift as an actual browser at all - not sure why but i just dont love that experience.
  • Using Shift has probably saved me at least 3–5 hours a week just from not toggling between tabs, logging in and out of platforms, or hunting down what I need. That time adds up fast over the course of a month.
  • The reduced mental clutter has made a huge difference in how I approach my workday. I feel less scattered and more focused, which means I’m able to get into a groove quicker and stay there longer.
  • It’s helped me stay more organized across multiple clients and projects. Just being able to clearly see what’s happening in each workspace has definitely improved how I manage timelines and communication.
I’ve connected all my most-used tools in Shift: Gmail, Asana, ClickUp, Sunsama, Notion, Dubsado, Stripe, and Wave, and it makes it so much easier to stay on top of everything without hopping between a million tabs. I can easily swap between client or project communication in Gmail and Asana, check off tasks in ClickUp, glance at my schedule in Sunsama, and reference notes and my second brain in Notion. All in one place. It honestly feels like having a command center that keeps me focused and cuts out a lot of unnecessary friction throughout the day.
Shift has definitely helped me stay more productive by removing the mental drag of constantly switching between platforms. Instead of juggling dozens of tabs or getting distracted every time I need to check something, everything is right there in one clean workspace. I can quickly bounce between emails, tasks, calendars, and notes without breaking focus. That small shift in how I work has made a big difference . I get through my to-do list faster, and I spend way less time getting reoriented after switching gears.
I gave Shift a 9 because it's genuinely one of the most useful tools in my daily workflow. It keeps everything I need in one place and just makes things easier. I love how intuitive it is to set up and how simple it is to jump between workspaces without getting lost in a sea of tabs. The only reason it's not a full 10 is that I don't personally love using it as a full browser. For everything else I use it for, it's super reliable and well-designed.

Do you think Shift delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Shift's feature set?

Yes

Did Shift live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Shift go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Shift again?

Yes

Shift is great if you are often switching between multiple admin programs or have multiple email addresses. Its also great if you have different businesses that you use various programs for so that you can split up the apps by workspace associated with each email. If you dont often use the same programs or juggle multiple email addresses, it may not feel as beneficial and i dont recommend it as a primary browser.
