Shift is Excellent for Contractors with Multiple Clients
Overall Satisfaction with Shift
Shift is my go-to application for keeping the work I do for various clients organized.
The ability to create Workspaces that contain all of the relevant apps and sites I use for each client makes organizing and maintaining each client's specific needs simple and easy to follow.
I also use Shift to organize the various email addresses and accounts I have for each client, which allows me to easily monitor and keep up with eight or more different email addresses without having to use a single client that mixes or combines the various accounts into a single inbox. This prevents accidental replies from the wrong address.

Pros
- Allows for multiple email addresses to be monitored separately without a single, unified inbox
- Organizes each of my clients' applications into single workspaces
Cons
- The ability to use custom icons for workspaces (or favicons) would really help me to better recognize which client's workspace I'm clicking on in the sidebar
- The password memory for workspace-level applications is malfunctioning, and keeps requiring me to type in the password without autofilling it (though it asks me to save the password, each time).
- Increased productivity
- Decreased reliance on a separate browser for work
Shift's application integrations are largely fantastic! Since the latest update, however, they've been glitchy—specifically, they haven't been remembering and autofilling passwords in the applications (but they have in the browser tabs). I have to type in the password each time, and each time Shift asks to remember the same password, but never autofills it.
To be clear, this occurs only in the Workspaces when you click on the sidebar App buttons and have to log in.

Shift has definitely made it easier for me to organize every application and window I need for each client, but it's not really my go-to for things I need to do in-browser.
