Overall Satisfaction with SmarterU.com

SmarterU manages and tracks all of the training requirements for our whole organization. In aviation, the control of training is a significant requirement. SmarterU allows us to manage the different training requirements to all of the various positions in the company, from pilots to maintenance and everyone in between. Many training requirements have a recurrence to them and SmarterU allows us to track that.

Pros

  • Deliver online Ttraining.
  • Record training requirements.
  • Build training templates based on job role.
  • Good user interface.
  • The developers are very responsive and will implement improvement suggestions.

Cons

  • Reporting System can be improved.
  • Initial feedback from users has been very positive.
  • Training compliance has improved.
  • Time to complete training has improved.
Most online LMS systems work really well to track and manage training that the system is delivering. However, most systems are not very good at managing training requirements which are delivered outside of the system. For example, First Aid training, or license requirements are accomplished through third party. SmarterU was the only system we evaluation that was able to track these items with the ability to monitor the renew dates properly.

I think that SmarterU can be implemented in any organization in any industry. Especially in industries with more complex training requirements. The administration of the system is simple and the usability of the system to end users is even more simple.

Using SmarterU.com

250 - All business functions. Pilots, maintenance staff and administrative staff.
2 - SmarterU offers Administrator Training. Once people have completed this training, then they can offer support. People who work directly with the Training Department are currently the users who can support the system.
