Overall Satisfaction with SMTP2GO

We use SMTP2GO for MFC and copier devices, as well as setting up websites with individual SMTP credentials for contact forms, etc. SMTP2GO has really been awesome because they make setting up domains, SPF, and DKIM a breeze for maximum delivery. Emails when sent are delivered almost instantaneously, whether it is a contact form submission or a newsletter being sent out. Having individual SMTP accounts allows us to see with greater granularity where the traffic is coming from, and optionally suspend an individual account while investigating/remediating. It has truly been a wonderful experience working with SMTP2GO so far!
  • Making SPF/DKIM setup a breeze, maximizing deliverability
  • Suppression list makes sure that emails unsubscribed or marked as spam are never sent to again
  • Activity reporting for figuring out who what when and where
  • Emails sent lightning fast!
  • Would be nice to see an option for uploading an array of email addresses for sending out a newsletter and having SMTP2GO send each email out as an individual, customized email
  • Security. SPF & DKIM maximizes email deliverability
  • Reporting. When there is a problem, identifying the source of the problem to be better able to resolve it quickly
  • Performance. I have not yet experienced a slow down in delivery of any kind. They have always been ridiculously fast on delivery
  • We were able to offload outbound SMTP services, allowing us to retire a couple of servers.
  • Price is very affordable but the service is completely scalable, so it grows with our needs.
  • Security. Being able to offload outbound SMTP services allowed us to focus on other things within the business, yet allow us to be alerted of potential issues very quickly. Its like having another employee sitting there, handling email for us 24x7.

Well suited. We use it for everything from sending out server logs and alerts to contact forms and scanned documents from copiers. It works almost perfectly in every scenario we have thrown at it. We also use it in a few scenarios where a customer needs to send out notices to 5-600 email addresses at a time, and never fail, SMTP2GO handles it perfectly. Because of the simple but effective SPF and DKIM integration, you can be assured the email will make it to the intended destination.

Not as well suited. Our previous SMTP provider had an extra field on the API for bulk_recipients, where we could fill in all of the email addresses for a newsletter, and it handled everything for us. On SMTP2GO, this function did not exist and we had to refactor our custom application to generate the emails individually and make 1 request per email address, rather than 1 request for all email addresses. Not major, but not as well suited as some other services.
