Overall Satisfaction with SMTP2GO
We mostly use SMTP2GO to enable alert email transmission from many different devices for alerting and logging. SMTP2GO solved all our needs in this field:
- allows creating multiple (apparently, unlimited) users
- accept most auth protocols/security, and even allows IP-authenticated (unauthenticated email sending from a specific IP). This is useful for older devices, for example
- accept use of typical ports, plus "well known" ports usually bound to other protocols, this makes things easier when there are network restrictions in place
- reporting is clear and complete. it also allows to immediately identify "out of control" sending, pinpointing the user
- there are tools to check email delivery, and useful error reporting
