Overall Satisfaction with Snagit
Snagit is typically used at our organization in the following roles: sales development, support, account executives. It is used to show and explain to customers certain things within our tool that cannot be illustrated if screen share is not an option. It's best for basic photo editing or markups. A good example would be taking a screen shot of something in the software, then circling the spot where they need to click and then writing steps directly on the image by using arrows, numbers, shapes, etc.
- Good variety of shapes, arrows, and other basic drawing features for explanations.
- Never choppy or glitchy.
- A Snagit "quick tab" is always open on the screen for whenever you need to use it. At the same time, it's not in the way at all but sits inconspicuously in the corner.
- The first time using Snagit took a little while to learn because there was no training.
- I do basic photoshop work with Snagit. And I mean BASIC. However, a simple freeform/lasso crop tool would be nice.
- More accessible support team.
- It's the simple things that go a long way. Being able to articulate problems or "how-tos" in a visual way is extremely helpful to customers and/or potential clients.
- From a sales standpoint, it's nice to be able to offer support along the way.
- Though I'm in sales, I could see support and customer success using Snagit a lot more.
- Apple screen shot
One hundred times better than the basic screen shot that is available on the computer. You are able to get much more exact "screen-shotting" because it narrows in on the corners. Furthermore, the editing studio pops up right after you screen shot with Snagit and all the common tools are extremely accessible.
