Overall Satisfaction with Snow License Manager

Snow's SLM has many out-of-the-box connectors available that tie into external data sources allowing the visibilty of this data in one location. This shows you the licenses, assignments, and usage from sources such as MS365 or Adobe. There are also some ITSM connectors available, but we do not have experience with those.
We use Snow License Manager to monitor and manage our software landscape. We use it to track installations and removals of software along with usage. We also use it to help monitor the active computers in our environment. We record our software purchases and licenses in SLM in order to track our software compliance position. If it relates to software, Snow License Manager is our organizations single source of truth.

Configuration and overall use of Snow's SLM solution is by far the easiest of the various SAM tools that I have worked with. Also their support, if you have any issues, is outstanding.
Many of the SAM tools function similarly. I have found that the ease of use, the ease of configuration changes, and the way the interface just works logically make Snow work better in my eyes. Snow was also much easier to learn for me.

SLM is really great for being able to reclaim software licenses when assigned users are not using their software. This is really helpful especially at renewal time. In reality when it comes to software, Snow is very good at managing all aspects.
