Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Network Configuration Manager

I manage a team that uses SolarWinds in the NOC. It monitors all of our network switches and access points.

Pros

  • Timely reporting on outages.
  • Configurable dashboards.
  • Easy to find alerts.

Cons

  • More alerting features.
  • If-then-else logic.
  • Obviously, we can reduce downtime with quicker responses do to alerts.
  • Verbiage in alert emails guides Operations to quick responses.
None. Typically, we just had configurations on flash drives
If you take the time, you can get pretty much everything you're looking for from this product.
