Overall Satisfaction with SonicWall Secure Mobile Access (SMA)

We use this in our hybrid working environment to secure remote access. It is used to provide a more controlled and safe VPN experience.

  • Control what access users can have
  • Protect from harmful sites and downloads
  • Ease of use (for end users) is pretty good but could be better.
  • Reporting could be easier to locate and more clear.
  • HA has had some problems working properly.

  • Scalability
  • Array of features
  • Security incidents went down by about 30%.
  • With the new world of hybrid work, this SMA functions well and is a necessity.
  • We've had a few issues with patches breaking functions.

Yes

The SMA is pretty suited to controlling and protecting users and their remote access. We've caught spoofers before due to Geo-location services. These spoofers were attempting to get into the environment by trying to get a user to send the MFA prompt to them when the user themselves were not trying to connect at the time.
