Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have been working in network security for the last 3 years and I have worked with lots of firewall devices. As per my knowledge, this is one of the best firewall devices in the market at a low cost. Sophos XG Firewall provides you endpoint security, protection from malicious, malware attacks, and protection from any type of cyberattacks. There are lots of others features are available which make this device the best security product.

Pros and Cons

Web application security.
Advanced SD-WAN (software-defined networking in a wide area network).
Sandboxing.
Web traffic control through URL filtering.
Application control.

Less documents available. Sophos should work on these issues.
Good technical support is not available.
GUI is not user friendly.

Return on Investment

Easy to deploy and configure for working industries.
Low cost.
Easy to understand logging and reporting.

Alternatives Considered

Cisco ASA

I was a big fan of Cisco ASA products, but when I saw all of the security feature differences between both firewalls, I moved to Sophos devices. Its sandbox, IPS, and many more features are really advanced. Cisco does not provide features like this.

This is the best product for small-size organizations with a low budget that want advanced and deep-level security features. Sandboxing and advanced malware protection are the most valuable features available on Sophos devices. Other features like applications and web content make your organization more secure, and you can put more restrictions on users.
