Overall Satisfaction with Spotify for Podcasters

I use it as the RSS Feed for my businesses podcasts - cross-publishing episodes on both Spotify and Apple Podcasts bi-weekly. For being free, it has all of the capabilities needed for a cross/publishing RSS Feed that my business needs. I’ve been using it since August of 2025 and haven’t had problems.

Pros

  • Cross publishing to platforms
  • Scheduling episodes in advance
  • Analytics

Cons

  • More in depth audience analytics
  • Ability to directly sync to Riverside.fm
  • Ability to directly sync to Squarespace podcast episode page to pull details
  • I was able to publish 11 episodes on it from Aug-Dec 2025
  • I had 200 listeners
  • I had a woman reach out to me who I didn’t know that started listening and loves the podcast
Very intuitive!
Podbean is a little more old school and rudimentary - Spotify for podcasters was recommended to me as a better option, so I tried it and liked it better than when I used to use Podbean years ago. It could have changed since I used it last and improved, but I’m not sure.

I recommend this to clients and colleagues as a good starter platform for podcasting because it’s user friendly, free and is easy to navigate overall. I was able to schedule publishing for my first episode within 30 minutes of recording it - making the creative process expedited and streamlined. It let me preview how my episode would display and sound which gave me peace of mind the first time I used it.
