Overall Satisfaction with SQL Sentry Performance Advisor

It is used for BI servers, to monitor all Micrsoft SQL Server BI stack of tools

Pros

  • Provides good overview of operation
  • Get's right to the point
  • Help us to eliminate "bottlenecks"

Cons

  • To be more accessible across the UN-unified LAN
  • RedGate Performance Advisor
It came as part of SQL Sentry, otherwise both products are almost the same
Only drawback is inability to use it on un-trusted locations outside the WAN.
