Overall Satisfaction with StarWind HyperConverged Appliance (HCA)

We use StarWind managed HyperV service for Virtualized Servers,
redundancy servers and the Star Wind support alerts us if there are any issues
with the HyperV servers. Their phone support is professional and great.

  • in the past due to time zone differences to get to phone support later in the afternoon sometimes we could not get a hold of second level technical support on the same day. however we feel that this has been improved in the past year. Normally we can get to first level support immediately and then if an escalation needed, we schedule a time with second level support later
  • Customer portal to schedule a time
  • Discounts on Upgrades
  • Cost Saving , Instead if having multiple servers and manageing them seperately we have redundant hyperV servers and this creates efficiencies in terms of management of the servers
  • Customer Support is proactive and contact us if anything needs paying attention to with good follow ups
  • Redundancy of Hardware via RAID and power system is good for critical environment
Star Wind support alerts us if there are any issues with the
HyperV servers. Their phone support is professional and great.
In terms of power outages a reliable UPS is necessary as Hardware Syncing can take time (few hours) in virtual environment

It is well suited for Virtualized Environment The central management, redundancy and 24x7 alert system via
managed service provider is a key component that we were looking for. The
HyperV Servers comes Preconfigured and the product sales specialist recommends
Hardware specs as needed for your environment.

In case of updates for the firmware and StarWind Softwares the
Starwind support contacts us since it is managed service and remotely does the
upgrade which is great.
