Overall Satisfaction with StarWind Virtual SAN
We are a gold mining partnership in Malartic, Québec where we work 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. About 1500 people are on our sites, 900 users have computers and 100 different virtual servers runs to maintain the production area. We used: 8 different cold storage, 2 SAN and automatic synchronizations for files between 15 minutes and 24 hours (Vsphere replication and SRM).
Now: We can have 2 sites with real-time synchronization and no more single point of failure. Moreover, we can make updates and upgrades at any time without cuts to the production infrastructure. |
