Overall Satisfaction with Teamwork
My team has been using Teamwork to manage our client projects for about 4 or 5 years now. We migrated from Basecamp and have never looked back. We use it to track tasks, milestones, client files, emails, meeting notes and billable and non-billable work. We work all over the world and Teamwork allows us to stay on track.
- Reporting: I run a couple of reports each month that give me insights into billable and non-billable work, project status, profitability, etc.
- Flexibility: We work on date driven projects as well as one-time, projects that follow a clear template/process and those that don't. Teamwork can handle it all.
- Focus: Teamwork allows everyone on my team to go in daily to see their highest priority tasks and then once those are done, they work on tasks by due date. This keeps my team focused on what they need to do each day, without oversight.
- Templates: The ability to set up templates for our processes helps us ensure quality and improves employee on-boarding/training.
- I would like to see a visual representation of what is overdue, due and coming up - maybe in calendar view- in addition to the Gantt chart view. It's a "nice to have" requirement, not a must have or big gap though.
- Suffice to say there are a number of project management apps on the market. We just did a review of the tool and other options, which we do periodically and determined that bang for the buck, nothing beat Teamwork for us.
