We use Teradata primarily for 3 purposes:
1) Data Warehouse - That provides analytics, internal and external regulatory reporting. Data aggregation for further processing on other internal systems. Scoring for credit decisioning
2) Data Marts - stand alone data for specific reporting areas.
3) Customer Marketing - Both real time and offline. Also for fraud avoidance.
