Overall Satisfaction with Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker

We use Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker as a billing system and file manager for outside firms we contract with. The system makes it easier for our billing team to review and process invoices and our legal team can easily access files for review. Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker has greatly streamlined our billing for outside firms.

Pros

  • Legal research platform is extremely user friendly.
  • Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker is very customizable to fit individual organizational needs.
  • Having the ability to keep files stored virtually is great for access and security.

Cons

  • The Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker help fields need to be updated.
  • I would suggest trainings be offered as updates are made to the platform.
  • Great ROI due to the reduced daily work dedicated to reviewing invoices.
Because it is so customizable, the system is very user friendly. It takes a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, along with a bit of lift to set everything up, but once it's up and functioning it is a great tool.
Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker was part of my organization's platform when I joined, so I am not familiar with any others.
