Overall Satisfaction with ThousandEyes

ThousandEyes enabled the business and myself to address and diagnose a specific issue relating to applications timing out over the WAN network. The issue was pinpointed to a specific time when the next hop would change during the device roaming. Once the WAN link was remediated we were able to present a stable connection using a graph from ThousandEyes to the BU justifying the cost.
  • Past and realtime WAN path visualization
  • BGP Monitoring
  • Web and DNS performance
  • Night/Dark mode
  • Easier UI Navigation
  • Cheaper pricing for endpoints
  • Diagnosed WAN issues fast and efficiently
  • Gather evidence to support claims to deliver to service provider or ISP
  • Great end-user monitoring

Do you think Cisco ThousandEyes delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Cisco ThousandEyes's feature set?

Yes

Did Cisco ThousandEyes live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Cisco ThousandEyes go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Cisco ThousandEyes again?

Yes

Cisco ThousandEyes is well suited for diagnosing WAN faults, BGP path monitoring and web performance. It is less suited for on-premise fault finding especially for anything below Layer 3. It would be nice to see more detailed analyitics and a packet capture function, or potentially some other Cisco integration.
