Overall Satisfaction with TIBCO Data Virtualization

TIBCO has good and responsive support in case some issues arise.
We resell this software but in most cases we actively use on customer's behalf. That means creating content for customer's end users who consume that from TDV.
  • Fast federated queries from different data sources.
  • Optimization of data queries from different data sources.
  • Linkage of data flow.
  • A little bit obsolete design of UI.
  • Get data in hours not months.
Some other ETL tools but found them more complicated and actually doing same thing in other way. Not really comperable.
SAP ERP data queries.
This was recommended by us and bundled with TIBCO Spotfire, so commercially very attractive.

Well suited - company wants to query data from different data sources. If they use mostly one data base, then other tools are good enough to handle this.
