Overall Satisfaction with Spotfire

Spotfire is being used by my entire organization to get insight into our data analytics. We use it primarily to gather and analyze data within our business.
  • The learning curve is very shallow and we are able to get valuable results with minimal amounts of training.
  • Spotfire is very configurable and allows us to customize it to our business needs.
  • Support for this product is done very well and really helps us solve our business challenges.
  • I'd like to see some better documentation and help features. I feel those are lacking!
  • I think the GUI looks a bit dated and I'd love to see a new look and feel to it.
  • Right now, we have just started running Spotfire, so I will have to get back to you on this item.
Right now, Spotfire is new to our company and we haven't integrated it anywhere.
We brought both Spotfire and AppDynamics into our company for prototype testing. We felt Spotfire was the far superior product and best ROI. It was easier to use, the tools available in the suite were more comprehensive, and overall we felt it was the best bang for our buck and investment.
In my company, I think Spotfire is well suited for analyzing my data and discovering patterns and emerging trends in our business environment. Spotfire would allow us to visualize the data in easy to use visuals and graphs/charts to help us grow our business. Spotfire fits well into our enterprise data management suite and would be a very valuable asset!

Spotfire Training

  • No Training
We were self-taught on using Spotfire. Using various resources, we were able to successfully learn and integrate Spotfire pretty quickly. Most of the training material was very easy to understand and use and most questions were able to be answered by the training material. I thought overall the training material was pretty good!
