We are using it to deliver a business intelligence solution to our customers for their data which resides on our platform.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Access native SQL Database.
Joins to other data well.
Provides calculated options to enhance or correct data.

Cons

Functionality. Missing several key options.
Documentation. Not very user friendly or specific.
Assistance with specific data specific requirements is lacking.

Alternatives Considered

Tableau Desktop and QlikView

Better than Tableau for my needs. QlikView was very similar, but did not interact as well with native SQL Data.

Other Software Used

Salesforce.com, SQL Server Business Intelligence Manager

Likelihood to Recommend

Spotfire is very good at combining data across clients.
