Overall Satisfaction with TimeClock Plus

We use it to track employee hours, this includes hours on job sites and travel time. This includes the gross bi-weekly hours and the daily hours worked for a bi-weekly period where we can see where overtime or double time hours are logged. We also use it for personnel info and the hire and termination dates.

Pros

  • Keeps track of daily hours
  • Detailed hours reports
  • Robust personal page

Cons

  • Salaried employees still show up in the Employee Filter when "Exclude salaried is chosen"
  • A "Notes" field in the Employee Profiles "Personal" would come in handy
  • it saves time and therefore money that doesn't have to be spent on tracking time
  • it also saves on frustration because it's an easy and accurate program to use
It's quick and easy to use, it's a time saver and you can see at a glance what information is there. It has excellent editing features and it's helpful that it keeps a history of employees whether current or not. It has a robust Personal info page and the Reports page have well thought out options.

Yes

I can't think of where it would be less appropriate but for keeping track of hours it works great. It's fluid because it's simple, straightforward and quick to use. It saves time because of its easy useability. It's also easy to adjust times when there's an error, and that it keeps a history of changes is also useful.

It's robust and does what we need it to do in terms of tracking worked time, also unworked time. It has a detailed Employee Profiles section but mostly it's because it keeps track of hours.

TimeClock Plus Reliability

It's consistent and easy to use.
It has never been unavailable when I've needed to use it.
Great performance, pages load quickly and reports generate quickly. They do take some time to complete if they're covering a large Start - Stop date, eg months but that's not an issue, they still complete fairly quickly.
