Overall Satisfaction with Tricentis Testim

We use Tricentis Testim daily to automate our regression test cases. Testim has been great at working between several browser based applications, and allowing integration testing. There are also many useful pre-built tools to help with MFA, emails, scripting and scheduling. Testim can be used to automate actions in both company controlled applications, and third party applications where you do not have any control over changes or tags.

  • Could be some more controls around Test step pass fail within a test
  • Could be better visibility into cases opened with Tricentis
  • Could be better documentation around where/when and what JS is available to be used in tests
  • Tricentis Testim has helped us run a thorough regression daily, something that we were unable to do before
  • Tricentis Testim has helped us to catch many seemingly unrelated bugs in a test environment the day of/day after code changes
  • Tricentis Testim low code approach has helped us to create automation tests much faster, with more confidence, and allows much easier maintenance
While I cant say exactly what the AI has done within our tests, I have noticed that some points of failure within a test, have not failed, and were corrected by (assumingly) the AI. While this doesn't happen that often, it is accurate and helpful. We have not attempted the AI test authoring.
The customer support is the best I have ever experienced, both personally and in a job role. The chat anytime is a very nice option, there has never been more than a few minute wait to connect with someone, and the agents are very knowledgeable and helpful.
We evaluated several other products, and what gave Tricentis Testim the edge was the ease of use, the customer support and the pricing. While others seemed to have a bit more complex functionality, we have been able to build almost every use case the way we would expect, with very few workarounds.

Testim has been great at automating Frontend and integration regression testing. I do not think it would work wellTricentis Testimfor backend code testing, if it could not be done through UI. The record function is very good, and makes automating test cases much faster and more accurate. We have had great success using Testim to verify SalesForce environments, NetSuite environments, and our own JumpCloud application as well.
