Overall Satisfaction with Tricentis Testim
Tricentis Testim is a great addition to our organization. with its low code nature, it helped us upgrade manual QA skill to automated way. It have solved the biggest problem of our automation where selenium used to take 100 hours for maintenance, it have reduced that time by 50%. (This part totally depends on the tech that your app is using.) this helped us grow our test coverage by diverting those efforts to real time automation. Win Win !
Pros
- capturing the element paths
- option to choose from path
- low coding
- web tool, accessible anywhere
- reused function capability
- compatible to test SFTP, DB etc via JS scripting
Cons
- memory issues on web interrupts the flow of the engineer
- limited steps are the biggest concern for some of the enterprises
- cost can be reduced for initial phases
- add deep learning features
- auto improve feature needs enhancement
- increased coverage
- reduced maintenance cost
- upgrade manual tester skills to automation
The AI feature is not so useful for maintenance yet it is useful for suggesting some scripts with logics that's it
