Overall Satisfaction with UXPin
I use UXPin to create wireframes for web design clients. I hammer out key elements like layout, navigation, and content placement. With features like smart elements and page duplication, I can quickly create wireframes for every layout I plan to present to the client. It is easy to use "out of the box". Although I personally haven't delved into UXPin's more advanced & interactive features, its a great tool to get a project off the ground.
- Easy to keep your projects and & individual elements organized
- Intuitive and easy to use out of the box, rarely have seek outside help to use this program
- UI needs work. When editing an element, panels sometimes cover the element I am trying to edit. Some of the preset elements (navigation creator) are wonky.
- Guide placement/creation could be more advanced - wish I could just type in the pixel.
- Saves time because I ask the client to approve the general layout in wireframes before continuing to mockup/prototyping. This way I know what to build, and the client somewhat knows what to expect.
