It serves us above all to provide more security to different elements stored in AWS, especially some datasets that we work with that are more relevant to us. Reliability and Availability

Precisely this high data recovery capacity is one of the best skill abilities. But without a doubt, if it were just another backup, it wouldn't make much sense. What really gives power to Veeam Backup for AWS is being a complete backup suite and, especially, giving the system a very advanced granularity, with many recovery options and services that go beyond mere backup.

I really like AWS Backup, and I really like Veeam Backup for AWS. I sincerely believe that they are not directly competitive products but rather complementary products. We use both, and I believe that each of them responds to specific needs and scenarios. At this point what I was saying is that in principle I am in favor of AWS solutions and not third-party solutions, but that in the case of Veeam Backup for AWS it is one of those third-party solutions that I do consider adds value.
