Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365

We are using it to back up our data in case of data corruption or legal purposes after someone has left the company. Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 allows quick and easy access to our data. Along with the risk of malware and ransomware always being there it gives us another layer of protection in case something happens.

After meetings with Veeam and our reseller going over features and pricing we determined it was a good fit for our organization. Worked with our reseller to come up with a deployment plan and usage guidelines.
This is by far some of the easiest and most intuitive software I have used. I have been a Veeam Backup and Recovery user for many years and the addition of this product just fell into place. Very straightforward and easy to use. Even our tier-1 support can use it to cut down on the number of support tickets for our tier-2 and -3 personnel.
Data has been mistakenly deleted and is easily recoverable with Veeam Backup. You could say it has saved our bacon more than once. Easy to look back when we may get right to information requests as well. Eases the pain and especially when some of the information we need is from a former employee that is no longer with the company.
With all the formats we can restore data it make the recovery and accessibility of the data a breeze. Send the zip file to a user, open a PST in a client in order to pull some data that is needed. Easy to scrub the data from the network as well once it is no longer needed.
Ease of use--this is a big one. Makes our support staff empowered and takes the burden off of senior staff for routine tasks like file and email restores. It helps to guard against malicious attacks that would make our data inaccessible.
We only looked at Veeam as they were already a trusted vendor for us.
Veeam support is awesome, always has been with all the products we have used in the past. Support is fast and knowledgeable and come to resolution quickly.

We have had a few employees that were laid off and then hired back. We recovered their Office 365 data for them. Much nicer for them to pick up where they left off. Veeam Backup made the transition back to work much easier for the employee as well as the staff in the department.
