Powerful, easy to use Office 365 backup solution

We are using Veeam Backup for MS Office 365 to backup all users mailboxes on a daily basis. It has worked extremely well for us. I am able to restore anything from entire mailboxes down to individual emails quickly and easily. This is extremely easy to use and powerful software to backup your 365 data.

We learned that we needed a backup option for Office 365 data since Microsoft does not backup data for tenants. We were familiar with the Veeam interface, since we use Veeam for server backups, so Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 was a logical option for backing up our 365 data.

We have used the search and restore options of Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 several times to restore email whenever a user is missing or accidentally archives or deletes an email. Through the use of the search option, it is easy to quickly locate whatever is needed and do a restore to their existing mailbox or export the email for the user.

For the most part, we restore emails back to the user's current mailbox. When an entire mailbox or a large portion of a mailbox needs restoring, we will export this backup to a zip or pst file and save this to a separate appropriate location.

Ease of installation made setting up this backup solution a breeze. Once you set the connection to your Office 365 environment, your backup schedule and backup location, Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 is good to go.

I also love how easy it is to restore an email. There are several options for restoring emails to various locations, which is very convenient.
