Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
We use it as our secondary backup software for our non-critical VMs. Our critical VMs are protected by Zerto. It provides replication and backup for our VMs.
- Automatic Backup. Once configured, it runs pretty smoothly.
- Backup Testing. Sure backup allows for decent heartbeat tests on replicated VMs.
- Integration. It is very popular and well integrated.
- Sometimes failure messages are a bit murky.
- Veeam is affordable compared to many other products.
We don't use cloud capabilities but are benefiting by utilizing lower cost object storage.
We haven't had much of an opportunity to take advantage of these features with the exception of retention compliance.
