Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
We use Veeam Backup & Replication at our company to back up all of our VMware VMs. Every single VM is completely backed up and deltas run so quickly. We used to have such bottlenecks with our backups that we had to choose less critical information not to back up. Now we are backing up everything in half the time that a selective backup used to take.
- Virtualized workloads
- Endpoints and physical servers running Windows & Linux
- In addition to back up, we also snapshot some of these workloads
- Cloud-hosted VMs within AWS or Azure
- In addition to back up, we also replicate some of these workloads
- Application-centric recovery using Veeam Explorers (for Exchange, SQL, Sharepoint, etc)
- License portability as your environment needs change

40 VMs. This is more than I expected, but adding licenses is easy enough and some of the servers I had just needed a one-time backup (which doesn't tie up a license).
- Confidence in backup strategy
- Time and resources are freed up by using Veeam Backup & Replication
We had an MSP that wasn't performing proper backups and we lost 1TB of legacy data. Our experience before Veeam Backup & Replication was horrible as everything was behind the MSP curtain. Now we have control over our own data and Veeam Backup & Replication gives us the ability to have a robust backup strategy.
