Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
We use Veeam for all of our critical company data backups. Veeam Backup and Replication is a versatile solution that allows us to manage all of our backups from a simple and easy-to-use interface. It is feature-rich and multifaceted and at the same time easy to set up and configure your backups. Outstanding product and great value for money.

- Setup and configuration is straightforward and wizards are very helpful.
- Does not hog resources on host machine and is very efficient in processing backups.
- Very flexible software, tons of options for backup infrastructure and methods.
- Awesome support team, responsive and competent.
Cons
- Would like to an option to manage your backups from a web portal someday.
- Sometimes errors messages for failed backups are too ambiguous and hard to research a resolution for.
- Console can take a while to load sometimes, minor inconvenience.

Currently half a dozen of each. This is more than I anticipated at first because the product was so easy to set up and affordable that I decided to expand the scope.
- It is ten times cheaper than my old product, Barracuda and does a better job.
- Do not need to buy dedicated proprietary hardware, great savings there.
- Reduced down time due to ease of restoring files and machines.
We were using an expensive and hardware-heavy Barracuda backup solution that was meant more for a large enterprise. When it came time to buy new hardware and licensing, we did some research on alternatives and Veeam was a better product for our size of business. While the Barracuda solution was very powerful, it was not the right fit for our budget and technical resources. Implementing Veeam Backup & Replication has proven to be a great decision year after year.
We have definitely benefitted from the cloud storage integrations. We are able to leverage the different options for cloud storage to keep costs down. Restoring virtual machines in the cloud was easy and quick.
We have not used this feature yet but will most likely use it in the next year.
