Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365

The platform has demonstrated a great deal of reliability for our Microsoft 365 data protection requirements. It is easy to use for daily backup management while offering enough options for getting around in complex data restoration situations. This is so because the auto backup verification makes us sure about the implemented data protection plan.

The advantage that stands out in our organization has been on Veeam's clouds. It means that cloud backup storage has effectively decreased our infrastructure demand but at the same time enhanced our DR certification.
Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 has been very useful to protect our unstructured data. In this respect, we have attained better backup of our research data and documentation of projects and their improved recovery granularity.
The platform optimized the resources hence had clearly demonstrated strengths in its ability to handle scalability hence able to extend protection to other departments without compromising performance.
We currently safeguard approximately five thousand user accounts and related workloads, well beyond 3,000, our forecast upon project commencement.
Recently, we migrated from native Microsoft 365 retention policies due to exposing security flaws that our security audit found. It has cut down the recovery time from hours to minutes, and now we feel much more confident in the backup we have.
Compared to AvePoint and Metallic, recovery granularity at Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 is granular and managing the solution is easier. We chose Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 due to its vast number of options and high stability. This is done with such concern; competitors offer other integration capabilities and verification of backups that the platform surpasses.

To my mind, most focused on large Exchange Online mailbox backups and SharePoint site protection within Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365. In point-in-time recovery situations, the functionality turns out to be efficient, enabling accurate data restoration. But it may be slightly slower than the regularly used alternative when it comes to backing up Teams chat history if the backup contains an enormous amount of data.
