We use it for daily backups of our VMware vms.

We backup 5 vms currently and may expand that in the future.
- Never had to use it for more than file level restores.
We used an expensive service that backed up to the cloud only. It was incredibly slow and costly. Moving to Veeam Data Platform decreased our backup times and backed up to a local NAS that was mirrored to another building on location via fiber line. Then bouncing those backups to a remote location for another layer of redundancy. Saving us 1000s per year.
We have not used Veeam for any of our cloud services yet.
We have not utilized this but have considered moving away from on-premise Microsoft file serves and going to NAS. In this case we would use Veeam to backup those NAS file shares.
