How we use Veeam Data Platform in our Enviroment

In our organization, we use Veeam Data Platform primarily for data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity. The platform supports our on-premises, cloud, and hybrid IT infrastructure by providing reliable and secure backup and recovery. Veeam Data Platform enables us to recover data quickly in the event of accidental deletion, hardware failure, ransomware attacks, or natural disasters to reduces potential downtime and data loss. ALso the platform helps us meet regulatory requirements like FERPA by keeping student records safe

Our entire virtual environment of servers are on Veeam Data Platform which is about 14. We also have 2 physical servers on Veeam Data Platform. We actually had a lot more on physical until we decided a virtual environment was cheaper and easier to run.

We've had Veeam Data Platform before I've even started in my position but we always needed a backup solution and I have seen no reason to switch from Veeam Data Platform. Plus the increase of Ransomware is incredibly high in this day of age, we have to protect our data in a timey manner to avoid the risk of education loss.
