Veeam Data Platform is our backup virtual infrastructure for all servers in all locations. The business problems this application resolves are restoring virtual machines to the production environment, backing up all infrastructure, and replicating data across infrastructures. The last scope is a backup for the probe backup file and a test of the disaster recovery option.

Is this more or less than you anticipated when you first acquired the product? Yes. Veeam Data Platform is our standard backup tool for all locations across our company.

The last backup solution was Networker. This solution is very hard to manage, and the process is complicated. What was the triggering action that drove you to change your backup solution to Veeam Data Platform? The high license cost. How would you compare your experience before Veeam Data Platform to your experience with Veeam Data Platform? Veeam Data Platform is very easy to manage and provides a lot of information.
Maintain the 3-2-1 rule in the backup cloud infrastructure. Configuration is easy from the Veeam Data platform for different cloud environments. The restore is simply to choose the cloud location for the restore. A few days ago, the backup on promise was not available for a special restore, but the cloud backup was available, so we restored the special virtual machine from the cloud.
We are using the NAS infrastructure as the first backup location for a far location; all restores and backups are saved there. When a restore file from this backup is requested, the process is very quick because it is local. The best feature is granular file-level restore.
