Overall Satisfaction with Vista by Viewpoint
We use Vista by Viewpoint as our ERP and PM system. It is used for our accounting, finance, operations and PM departments.
- Customization: we can customize all data input forms, create any custom reports with Crystal and/or SSRS, as well as new tables that we need to track data in.
- Job Cost: it's very detailed to track costs per job, no matter where the cost originated from.
- Import module: has an import module that can be scheduled off hours to import data.
- Accounting: It would be nice to be able to INQUIRE on entries to see the GL posting, applied payments etc, vs having to add them to a batch
- PM: there are many forms in PM but some don't seem to have the same functionality or integrate with each other
- PM Pending Change Orders: this form is extremely complicated and takes many steps to approve and post changes.
- I was not involved with the original purchase so I cannot comment.
We also have Viewpoint Team which adds the cloud aspect of connecting our employees and external users. It's getting better but still does not come close to Procore, which is understandable due to the price differences of the 2 products.
