Overall Satisfaction with Vista by Viewpoint

We use Vista by Viewpoint for project costing, payroll, invoicing, etc. As a construction firm, [we use] Vista by Viewpoint tracking project costs, subcontracts, and change orders. Having all of this data in custom reports helps track the costs effectively.

We evaluated a few different software options [including] Procore and Trimble ProjectSight and decided Vista by Viewpoint best suited our needs and the price was good.

Once you learn to use Vista by Viewpoint, it is good. The implementation was a little rough but once we began learning how the different modules worked together we were in better shape. We wanted a lot of customizing done so that may have slowed the process a bit.
Vista by Viewpoint's support can take a while sometimes. The online database doesn't always point you to the problem therefore you have to reach out to a live person to get an answer.
Vista by Viewpoint is good for cost reporting. Vista by Viewpoint is not that great for project management and field integration. We use separate software to manage the project.
